Vivian Olsen

My Education - In Progress

I am currently a Junior at George Mason University and studying studio arts. Growing up I wanted to pursue the arts, but my life took a big pivot after not being able to pursue college after high school due to some personal struggles.

I worked in my Dad's business and started to take classes off and on at Northern Virginia Community College. While working and some school sprinkled in there for six years, I kept making excuses to not pursue art - money, time, anxiety - you name it. After years of convincing from my parents and myself, I finally got off my ass and decided to take control of my life.

This site and blog is a way to hold myself accountable and track my progress throughout my education, especially since I will be heading into my senior projects within the next year.

As always, I am looking forward to learning and excited to continue to see my progress.
