About Me

Vivian Olsen

Artist "In Progress"

I am currently a Junior at George Mason University and studying studio arts. Growing up I wanted to pursue the arts, but my life took a big pivot after not being able to pursue college after high school.

I worked in my Dad's business and started to take classes off and on at Northern Virginia Community College and with the Art League. While working and some school sprinkled in there for six years, I kept making excuses to not pursue art - money, time, anxiety - you name it. After years of convincing from my parents and myself, I finally decided to make a change.

This site and blog is a way to hold myself accountable and track my progress throughout my education, especially since I will be heading into my senior projects within the next year.

As always, I am looking forward to learning and excited to continue to see my progress in education and becoming the woman I want to be.
